Who better to describe a wine than its creator? An oenologist is like a conductor, running the show throughout the entire wine-making process. Every year, the Œnologues de France showcase their profession by organizing highly regarded wine tastings like the Vinalies® Internationales, with a selection of 3,500 wines from around the world; the Mondial du Rosé®, reserved exclusively to French and foreign rosé wines; and the Vinalies® Nationales, the annual competition for wines from every French region. But the Œnologues de France is also a professional organization that represents its members to ensure recognition and promotion among international organizations, ministries and institutions, and to ensure that French oenologists remain world leaders in their profession.
