Une association au grand cœur
Voluntary work from the heart The heart surgery charity Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque performs surgical operations for underprivileged children with congenital heart defects living in countries where the surgery required to save them is unavailable due to lack of technical resources or money. Over the past 20 years, the association founded by Professor Francine Leca and Patrice Roynette has arranged operations for 2,800 children in 11 hospitals in France, and organized their temporary accommodation in volunteer families. Air France’s Humanitarian Sponsorship division has been supporting Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque’s medical activities abroad for many years, as well as the children’s travel to France. You, too, can support these children in need.
