Soutien aux populations vulnérables
Supporting vulnerable groups The NGO Première Urgence Internationale works with victims of humanitarian crises in 21 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The association has provided assistance to Nigerians in the northeast part of their country, where Boko Haram has triggered massive displacements of the population. In Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, the sanitary conditions are catastrophic and food supplies are scarce. The association has set up a system of electronic cards whereby the most vulnerable members of the population can purchase food in local markets. This operation has transformed the everyday lives of many people. Air France’s humanitarian sponsorship division supports Première Urgence Internationale.
