Gourmet odyssey On long-haul flights, Air France is offering its Economy and Premium Economy passengers (except children under 12 and groups) a selection of à la carte menus for an extra charge, in addition to the free daily menu. Since 2012, the airline has offered these menus on request on flights departing Paris and throughout its network. They have proved very popular, and are changed every year. This month, three variationsItalia, Océan (photo) and Traditionare available for flights to Asia: Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul, in both cabins. These meals can be purchased from 90 days to 24 hours prior to departure, on the website, when you purchase your ticket (under “Manage your reservations”); at an Air France ticket office; or via an Air France call center.
